Robin Reliant ideal only fools n arses replica

Pendant mode on,there's no such thing as a robin reliant. The manufacturer was reliant, robin was the model name as in Vauxhall and nova or ford and Sierra. That is a reliant regal supervan with a 750 lump if it's still standard. The robin itself wasn't in production till I think 1973 and the 850 engine came in the robin deluxe in 75. Cruiser45 will hopefully be along to correct me if im wrong with dates. The robin was superceded by the Rialto in 81 I think,my trike is based on a Rialto from 83. The robin was bought back in the late 80s as a mk2 then the MK3 in 1999. Sad ain't I 🤔

Tbh it is a bit annoying and how they do it with the Model T too. Never understand why it's always the full name. It's not like you pass a (insert other car here) and say it's a Vauxhall/Skoda etc before what it is.

Er, no, that's a Reliant Supervan III with a 700cc lump if it's still standard (they didn't call them Regals). :ugeek: #superpedant
