Ive spoke of this on the what happened today thread. First few pictures are of the road. The photos showing the road are taken from opposite side of road,I was travelling from left to right so to speak. I'm hoping its captured the curvature of the road and the camber. Water has subsided since last night though. The posts I thought were wooden were in fact concrete and a few of them were knocked down. The road also runs along side of a river.

These pics show were car landed pretty much. The police said the damage was superficial but were wrong. I thought I could smell oil, lots of oil residue left behind too

From here I went to the yard to assess what little damage the police told me was there. The bloke I spoke to was also the guy who recovered it. The interior is a mess and the wiring was a bit knackered after they had to disconnect the batteries. The guy said they tried to connect things to get it to open boot etc but cant get any power into it. Oh also the wipers are seized in that position too.

Looking at the car I can see the leaking fluid is a combination of oil and atf so the trans cooler has had it,rad has bust along with the air con condenser. the bumper brace is twisted, the headlight is shoved right back too. I was being hopeful after police said it wasnt too bad but now I'm no longer sure.

Unlucky bub. I caught a deep puddle on Saturday night on the way home from Dundee. Fairly grabs the car right enough.

It has me wondering if any leccy cars were submerged in the floods over the weekend and if there was any hair raising results with batteries shorting out or whatever.
