Not yet I don't intend selling this one as it is way too much fun. I am using it again this weekend after it spent the last 3 weeks in the garage gathering dust. I will have to look at the dash lights sometime as they are real shit.

I’d appreciate a few pointers for viewing purposes.

Number one thing to look for is the correct tyres, they are bloody expensive and if the previous owner bothered to put the correct tyres on he might of cared enough to look after it. They do like to rot on the rear suspension so check the rear wishbones. Generally just check for rot. Mechanically they are pretty strong as long as you don't go for the later mid 90's cars. It all depends on budget really if you spend 5k it won't be any where near perfect but should be ok.

Depends on the rims but they want to be branded. Avons on the earlier cars mine has later alloys and is running Michellins. When you find they have put van tyres on it is time to budget for new as they are awful to drive on van tyres. Avoid white and gold cars as they are likely wedding specials that never get looked after. Don't worry too much if the performance seems unexceptional as a lot of them don't get used much and when they do are driven gently. Most likely will have the turbo solenoid fault mine had. Really easy to test for and fix just don't buy a replacement from flying spares as they are a rip off.

Do you know if the lights are an easy change to LHD spec, a lever or something you get a man in to do or is it hens teeth time?

Can I just divert the thread for a moment? I've been running my LWB Shogun on factory spec Dunlop Grand Trek tyres, made in Japan. I suspected they were dreadful and that it wasn't the car, so got myself into tick up to my eyeballs for a set of Pirelli Scorpions. The difference is like night and day.

I binned the Dunlops with 6mm of tread on.

Tyres really do make the difference I had an Interceptor years ago which had van tyres on the back and it was lethal. The previous owner fitted them to get an mot.

Viewing a paradox on Wednesday an x350 xjr. Seems I am reverting to type. A turbo R would be lovely but in a flashy red or nice met green.
