I was on a Caravan Club site in 2019 and two of the old fuckers had shuffled on while in their 'vans. Chaos.

A friend was once telling me he had to do quite a few long distance recoveries a year when people pass on holiday.

You are charged for every county you pass you. Its a fortune to haul a body back.

When I worked down the Continental Ferry Port in the Seventies it was a common practice to ship body-bags lying along the floor of brand-new Estoril caravans that were part of the freight manifest. Usually they were consigned by one of the motoring organisations and referred to on the manifest as "AA Cadaver".

More than once, the poor fucker's twisted P6 was on a low-loader in the next lane and his newly-widowed missus chaperoned in one of the quieter lounges on board.

I wonder if any of those caravan buyers were ever aware of the previous use of their new tourer......

I have decided against buying the hearse in New Jersey mainly because the seller is getting pushy. It has failed to sell at least twice starting at 2500 and he has a buy it now of 3500 but when it came to price he said he wanted 4k. I wouldn't pay more than 2500 if I could get a decent deal on shipping. This quote from last nights email was the final nail in the coffin for the sale as how can you deal with someone who addresses one as "man" and thinks I am "reaching out to him"
Listen man you are the only person to reach out to me about this and I really do not want to part with her. But times are not the best right now and could really use the extra cash too make some things workout. For the state of the vehicle and the price this deal is unmatched. At $2700 I will be just breaking even beside the cleaning products I bought that that’s whatever. Really need her gone and you’ve shown the most interest. Trying most for $2700 but wanted to still give you first dibs since you messaged first and it would be cooler for the car to end up in UK then just a different town.
