Peugeot 107 alternator belt renewal.
Step one, remove front bumper.

Old belt wasn't too bad. It wasn't as rubbery if you know what I mean.
Piece of mind anyway.

That's had a fair whack. About as bad as what wrote off my Civic.
I'd replace that crash beam (usually bolted on) as it's the main part of the crash resistant structure.

£80 delivered and half a dozen bolts. Piss easy to change.
There's only five bolts hold the bumper on.

That was a bastard to get on even with the alternator fully released. The new belt seems to be thicker too. We'll see what happens.
