I just scored these off fb for £50. He said they need a refurb and I'm planning on doing it myself.
Is it easy enough to take the tyres off or will I have to get a fitter to do it?

Having seen people try with tyre levers I'd pay someone to take them off. I'd deffo pay to get them put back on too as you won't want to ruin the new paint.

Just had a set of 17" Volvo wheels refurbished by a place near me, £220 and included fitting and balancing some new tyres (supplied by me). Considering most places seem to charge about £15 fitting per tyre seemed like a good deal. They have come back significantly better than I would have been able to do.
