Re: New car purchased. Fords finest.
The greeny grey dash was used on early Rialto up until the SE came out and it went pale grey, nothing too unusual.headlights are out there, aside from Reliant spares most likely having several hundred of them by now!

Re: New car purchased. Fords finest.
Father in law works van was overloaded by a ton nearly at a checkpoint. These sprinters certainly hide being overloaded well. Another van was sent out and that was overloaded too so I went out with trailer from near matlock to Grantham and hauled it back to his works yard near Burton on trent. Been a long arse day.

He didn't even get a fine. They told him to unload and get gone. I got to Grantham as quick as I dare with a trailer.

Re: New car purchased. Fords finest.
5 weeks tomorrow.
A couple of weeks ago it developed a bad squeak when cold so had new alternator belt and tensioner. That shut the squeak up but was still a little bit of a hum when cold. Threw £110 at my friends garage to supply and fit cambelt, idler and tensioner. I think it was getting ready. Belt was branded fomoco as was tensioner.

Thats why it was changed. We only really had a cursory glance when first purchased and seemed OK but 1300 mile later and the squeaking I called the shots on it. Also second hand black top lumps are bloody mental.
