2008. 3 former keepers. Vtr plus trim level so rather well equipped. 7 seats, massive boot. 1.8 125bhp petrol manual. Very light clutch being hydraulic rather than cable and a high seating position.

Good caravan puller those. Or the diesel one is anyway. A mate had an '08 exclusive 2.0 diesel one at a couple of years old. We went all over the country in our caravans and even to France. He had no trouble at all in four years. His was the proper auto too. They did a robotic manual that were very unreliable at the time, although that was only in the 1.6 diesel iirc.

The proper auto was available in the 2.0 and was the best auto box but was also running alongside the automated manual and eventually phased out for the automated one. Automated box was in the 1.6 and 2.0 diesel, unsure of the petrol models. I don't trust the egs box if I'm honest. I don't trust modern French electronics at all thats why I've gone for most basic one. Well basic ish. Petrol engine, manual box, manual dual zone climate and coil sprung instead of air ride.

Manual dual zone climate? How positively quaint.
You do have the air freshener thing to dip in your favourite lager though.

The climate controls are rather odd. I have all the switches and controls by my right knee. Controls the whole car unless the passenger presses the rotary dial near passenger door to turn on then they can control their own temperature. It's not high enough spec to have rear heater controls but I have a button to disable airflow to the rear. The air recirc button is on the bloody steering wheel! Yes it has the air freshener thing in the centre but I'm not paying 18 quid for a refill. Need to lookat the air con though as there's a lot of glass. Rear windows do have blinds though.

That’s a good purchase, they’re not as bad as people say. Basically a berlingo underneath.

When you eventually kill it can you save me some bits of interior.

Less annoying tag line.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

My Ma had one of these and it was great - comfortable and spacious, decent economy. I liked the manual "climate" as they (being old) always have everything at 200c.
