I've had a cz 125 with magneto and 6v. I didn't know my way mechanically back then like I do now and all it needed was a battery. Should have kept the old tractor.

I used to commute on a DT175MX with the 6v lights, they were shocking when it actually required light to see, worst was on a unlit road when a car came towards you so you totally lost your night vision then were plunged into pitch black...

I've spoken to my friend about looms. He hasn't got any 2 stroke minarelli bits any more as most he's dealt with over past few years have been 4 strokes. We struggled like hell to get any minarelli bits when he had his q pod.

The bike is having some work. Fitted new master cylinder for front brake, new caliper, tyre and chain with sprockets should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. New master cylinder doesn't have a mirror mount so fitted bar end mirrors instead.

Back to the van,new windscreen fitted a week or so ago and i put some new blades on it too. Still averaging around 43 town driving and no issues to report.

Is 43 mpg normal for these? I was expecting 50ish.

I live in Derbyshire with hills to suit and that's round the doors. Not bad considering its an underpowered non turbo breeze block

Mot day for this nail. Wish me luck. I've fitted a new rear tyre, front brake caliper and chain with sprockets. All lights work and everything seems in order. Concerned mainly over headlamp aim even though it seems ok and one of the led indicators doesn't light up all bulbs but still visible.
