Re: The van. Omghgf
My mother tells me about one we went on when I was a toddler. Apparently they pulled his wipers and half the vinyl roof off. Nor sure what car though. He did have a dolomite at one point though.

Re: Scooter change and gearbox woes
Update time.
Van has had a second hand gearbox fitted. Lost third gear syncro and 2nd,4th and reverse went a bit weird. Scrapyard box and new linkages fitted. Lots of metal swirls in the gear oil when I dropped it out too.
On the subject of metal swirls, found this on the honda scooter Doesnt look good so a quick get rid situation occurred. Bought this with the proceeds 4 years old,1680 miles on clock. Absolutely immaculate too. Has a lextek exhaust on which cost the previous owner around 150 quid and the fly screen is about 75 quid to buy too. Also I belive the tan seat was an option when new.
Paid 370 quid for it and it rides really really nice. Lighter than the honda so easier to control and has a lower seat height for ease of access. My friend had one the same model but a year older with 2500 miles on clock and he sold his last night for 950,I delivered it to new owner so there's definitely a profit in it if I decide to sell.

Re: Scooter change and gearbox woes
Scooter now sold again. My cousin offered me 700 so I took it. Spent some of the money on a decent sized mobility scooter. Which leads me onto the van. Still trundling on and as of this morning now posses a mini crane/hoist in the back for said mobility scooter

Re: Van updates.
Need to find the best lifting points and the best point for level lifting. No good at working our fulcrum points though so resorting to trial and error.
