Yes , Richard of Rothwell . Owned and driven R16 s since Feb1967. And yes got a lot of bits , but better still know where you can get almost everything , though prices for the rarer parts can be eye watering now.

How much for a driver's door, both front wings, a bonnet banana, two screenwash jets, the complete roof stainless trim front to back for one side, the upper LH windscreen trim, a cigarette lighter and a wheel, please?

Dodging the rain I managed to finish Side B.

This sill needs replacing of the front 40 odd cm to be pretty. The rest is good.

My word. The painting of the sills completely changes the appearance of the car, much for the better. But, the tidemark is gone, so you actually lose a point.

Can you come and paint my 16 please. Today was a special day as it was to be the final bit of paint that needed doing! I marked the occasion by fucking it up. It would have looked better brushed on
