Why did you want to remove the hubs?

I think it was to paint the backplates and do the oil seals.

Will be doing the same with my Moggy but just removing the one halfshaft on the side where the backplate has taken a beating. Hubs are integral on that, fortunately.

I was looking for one of my two wooly hats that I seemed to have misplaced for many months. I don't think I've seen them for well over a year. Anyway, looking in a box yesterday, I came across this.

A piece of one of the rubber mats of the Regal!

The car has a bit of sound deadening and carpet round the engine hump and the floor either side has rubber matting running front to rear. Held down by the front seat mounts in the middle and poppers at the ends.
