1969 Reliant Regal 3/30 saloon
Ok, this is a spin-off from the regular EHWOS thread. I'm going to try and do a daily post/pic on this, even if nothing actually gets done.
So I'll start with a picture taken today:

What’s the sticker on the rear 1/4 window? Looks like hale and pace.

The chassis isn't the original. I might have a photo of how bad it was back in the day. The chassis underneath it was offered to me c.1994 for £50. It was galvanized so I had to say yes.

Correct, it is Hale and Pace.
It's a 'Clorets' stickers that was taken from a pile on the counter of the local BP petrol station (Fruin Motors).

Re: 1969 Reliant Regal 3/30 saloon
Very useful upgrade. I have a bit of form with a Mark 5, patching the chassis behind the front wheel to bodge it through an MOT was a delight. A friend still has this model. It sports a front hubcap with a hole in it for the bearing to sprout through, was that a factory thing or did some proud owner not want the front wheel to remain unadorned?Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 12:17 amThe chassis isn't the original. I’d like to see that back on the road but with nothing bodywork related changed unless absolutely needed. Reckon you’d get open mouth pointing.

Time is of the essence now with all the threats to driving being bandied about, you want to get it back on the road and enjoy it.
