I'm sure I can remember early 70s registered Suzuki super carrys or something similar - this would have been in the 80s by which point they were all pox rotten.

Re: 1969 Reliant Regal 3/30 saloon
I've never owned a 3 wheeler but wanted one (guess which!) but driven quite a few Reliant 3 wheelers over the years. As a biker, a lot of friends didn't have car licences so had a variety. Noisy, cramped and )potentially) unstable they may well be, but they were fun and the short shift gearchange, willing engine and lack of rust, I found very appealing.
I did have several Scimitars which were the same really just more expensive and worse build quality

(Sorry SiC, it's still too cold, so you'll have to put up with "old man" rambling)
This car has been on a trailer/transporter a few times moving around. Probably around 1500 miles worth.
To start with it came up to Scotland on a hire trailer from Goring-on-Thames in 1991, then a few years later in 1997 it went down on a hire trailer to join me in High Wycombe. When I moved out of my bedsit 1998, I got a local recovery firm to move it on a flatbed to the other side of town. Having to move again 2002, I got a banger racer contact of the new landlord to stick it on his flatbed to the next village. 2006 I got the same bloke to again to move it to Staines. Then in 2007 I moved it (piece-by-piece) in a van round the corner to Ashford for a month and a bit. Bought a flatbed caravan chassis located in Marlow used it to relocate it temporarily in Egham. Then towed it up to Carlisle with a borrowed 1.4 Volvo 340. Sat there until October 2019 when I borrowed another trailer from a work mate and it's been here since.
Looking back at the MOT and working it out, I've done 35517 - 30372 = 5145 miles on the road, in the space of about 5 months as my daily.

That is devotion to the old crate - it would probably have been cheaper to sell it and buy another. BTW I don't mean to imply any criticism I think your actions have been 100% sound and logical at all times.

I can only say I'm sure those trips were a lot more pleasant towing this thing on a trailer than it would have been driving it.

There is a chap on AS who has a 3 wheeler of similar vintage in good condition, owned long-term, don't know if he posts on here and can't recall his forum name.
