This bit where the Bedford CF ambulance arrives - copper realises they are going too fast, gestures the medics to slow down - they hit the brakes, slide over the other side of the motorway, dab of oppo and manage to stop with slow contact to the MK1 Granny Cop car - EPIC.

It's a cross between Keystone Cops and the opening sequence of Saving Private Ryan - equal measures of madness and heroism in a day's work. Plod risking their neck litter-picking and performing heavy vehicle salvage and first aid. Not a traffic womble or overhead gantry message in sight.......

And an emphasis on keeping traffic moving as the main priority. Motorway would be on a full closure for hours for most of those incidents now.
