It was a beautiful day up there. Just raining sideways instead of upwards.

I drove the Alfa for the first time in about a fortnight earlier.

It's still fine, I guess. It just bounces around like somebody in the mosh pit at a Rammstein gig on every. Single. Imperfection. In the road.

It's also surprisingly thirsty for such a small car due to having the world's shortest gearing, thus it's constantly thrashing its tits off.

Pending paperwork issues (aargh) it'll go up for sale. That'll probably be late November / early December though.

I took the 323i up the Gleneagles road yesterday after having a few people tell me how interesting that road is. It was indeed rather nice to look at, some great views too. No scope for going remotely quickly though, due to no visibility and an endless train of monochromatic SUVs doing 40mph as an absolute maximum.

I took a couple of photos outside the train station though.

The wheels are still wrong, I know. However if I went for a set of 15" wheels I'd need 205/60/R15 tyres. They're more pricey than 205/55/R16s. Thus, a set of period correct 16s would be nice, if I see any remotely local and for a reasonable price.

The odometer was also at 176,999 when I parked it up. :D

You'd best hurry, they're rocketing in value.

I doubt I'll be buying another.

I didn't think I'd be buying another after the white 316i either!
