I've got a tin too. I'd just rather it flash rust over and I need to wire wheel it than weld zinc. Usually put that stuff on after I've finished a job rather than half way through.

I should have also covered it up so the rain couldn't get on it.

Prices are up to date and the same cylinder sizes. Except SGS prices I have from late last year. Looking like SGS locally is going to be cheaper, depending if prices are still similar. 2 bottles per year is the break even point. This year doesn't look like I'll use quite two up. SGS more convenient as available in a local town auto parts store 7 days a week and so much less hassle. Providing they have the cylinders I want in.

Edit: SGS prices are still current and there is no admin fee on their deposit.

Recalculated based on cubic meters as SGS are lower pressure filled (200bar Vs 230bar on others). Factoring this in makes Hobbyweld 20l Plus a similar price. But then the Hobbyweld retailer is a lot further than SGS for me, so factoring in fuel costs will make SGS by far cheapest for me. Basically BOC is cheaper if getting through 2.5 bottles a year. I'm far too fed up of bodywork to be getting through that much.
