Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

There is. Plates must be riveted on.

Not a lot of news with the Buick. It's been doing what a car should do, no tails of doom or trips on recovery trucks.
Aside from weekend jollies and pub transport duties, I put it to work today collecting fire wood.
Again, no problems, in fact I'll be using it for all trailer duties from now on, it's so much easier reversing a trailer in a saloon car when you can actually see the trailer.

I rather like it. I mean it's naff but in a cool way !

That roof is mental, I'm assuming it's not a convertible even though it really looks like one?!

The roof is indeed a fake. As are the wire wheels, leather and wood :)

My Buick's still working.
I'm less surprised by this fact as time goes on.
A few minor events have happened.
I've fixed* the power windows so they go up and down quicker. One day I'll re gas the aircon...

Last week my gate post decided to move and got in the way of the bumper.

I'm getting this straightened out, at the same time the boot lid and a few other minor blemishes are getting new paint.

I picked the buick up from repairs today.
The bumpers not as straight as it could be but it looks loads better. Fresh paint on boot lid too.
I Need to clean off some excess polish and that bumper sticker. That'll wait until tomorrow, today I've been cruising about on essential* errons.

My Buick is being very boring and continuing to be reliable.
A mini road trip today up to a beach race.

Excellent, thanks for posting these, that looked like a bloody good day out. Berliet is awesome with that fantastic steering column, as are those tail fins. Cadillac may have won the height/length race in 1959 but that '60 Fury tops it for sheer pointy pointlessness. They were completely axed for the '61 cars after this peak.

I miss the ambience of a late 70s Yank interior, too....
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......
