I got it started earlier with the battery after a full charge and jumped it off CLINTS spare he lent me. I managed to move it but it immediately came up with the power steering fault etc. Hoping it will be resolved with an alternator change. If not Copart will havve it for 550 quid and I'll cut my losses.
When I get the fucker out!
Got a mate popped in after he's just had 3 grands worth of stuff nicked which has stopped play...
A brand new Stihl chainsaw with a 25" bar, Stihl Hedge cutter, proper professional one etc, cunts. He gets his licence back in 10 days so it's properly fucked him over.
He's properly on the case to find out who it was, he knows all sorts of people and he tends to act before he thinks... it seems a few places were done over in the same area. They jemmied the door and used bolt cutters on the bike chains he'd got them secured with.
Pretty much crime free where I live but it comes in waves.
Struggling to find info on the best way to get this fucking alternator out. I think I'll ring Matt at the garage up the road in the morning as currently* this things going nowhere. Waiting for a knock on the door from the woman that owns* the spot I put it in. I didn't fancy doing it on the main road with all the stone wagons and massive tractors, trailers and Fastracks wizzing by.
Still thinking if I drop the power steering pump off it might just come out the way enough to squeak it thru?
