Maybe in 4th gear if you can get it to stop spinning, borderline undriveable I should think? You could here him coming a way off with a bloody screamer pipe out the bonnet, as you do! I'd be happy with a standard one.

I now owe someone as have been given a log burner as a barter. Two crispy sills on a Transit Connect. The owner can very easily afford a new van or multiples of but he likes this one, after driving it to its current destination I can understand why he'd rather stick with it.
Not wanting a repeat of the Justy experience I want to do it at least a bit off the floor. I've been offered use of a forklift but it needs fettling and there are no extension forks available

Only the finest* of tools available, apart from the welder, it's a bit of an animal.
A new ignition switch, feed for the electric fan etc and hopefully I can get the van set on my trestle and start the actual job?

On an A prefix it must have been one of the very last - X suffix are the newest I can recall seeing. Looks very straight though.

I didn't get chance to speak to the owner, maybe it'll appear again?

The one my dad had when I was about 5-6 years old was light blue, SEV 935 R (I think).

Things didn't go right again today, forklift is still fighting us so had to improvise. Not helped by one of the tines being bent, bloody farmers

Hopefully I can have a good stab at it tomorrow but that's going to be interrupted at some point as the Xsara is meant to be being collected from elsewhere.
