I thought they would have been body on frame rather than unibody. (Or have I just got confused which car is which vs your modern from the conversation the other day...?)

The '51 Pontiac with the garage roof on it's bonnet is body on frame, the 60s Plymouth buried under the ruins of the garage is a unibody.

Ah I completely forgot about the more recent 60s Plymouth. I was getting confused with the modern (Challenger?).

I'd forgotten about the Plymouth as well, I thought it was one of Phil's moderns.

About the only positive thing in all of this shit Phil is that you and yours are safe and physically unhurt. What a fucking disaster, literally.

Yeah. The modern Challenger is parked outside the house. It's got scratches and dents from flying debris but otherwise is ok.

The Pontiac is body on frame, as said. The metal is made from is thick and strong, but that's going to have put a dent in it.

The Plymouth is a much more modern design, thin steel unibody. That's gonna be a mess.

Renault is parked up out the back. Might be underneath bits of roof, haven't seen it yet.

We are still in Texas, looking for a place to stay, because we were only planning on stopping with friends here a couple days; we are on day 5 now.

Good luck Phil. What an awful predicament to be in.

I'm rooting for the Renna, because I'm warped.

It's gonna be there. I think the carpenter bees were holding the roof down in place.
(The only bit of the building that I would like to have rebuilt still stands).

I did think that I bet the Renault will be the only thing intact. Carnage all around, but it just sat there with its glum square face being all awkward and troublesome as usual.
