Nice bit of framing that, are you going to insulate it for condensation purposes or is it not a thing where you are?
Less annoying tag line.

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain
Condensation isn't usually a problem, but it might get filled with rockwool as a matter of course. My issue is how hot the room gets with the sun on the roof in summer. Being a shed, the rest of it isn't insulated at all.Bangernomics wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 6:14 am Nice bit of framing that, are you going to insulate it for condensation purposes or is it not a thing where you are?

Yeah, that's the plan. Boxing it in will make it slightly worse but it keeps the critters out.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 6:14 pm Insulation will stop it turning into an oven under that tin roof
Six inches of insulation stuffed in should help

Good point our frog haus is insulated to the nines and was lovely in the 43 degree summer.DodgeRover wrote:Insulation will stop it turning into an oven under that tin roof

High beam isn't too high any more.
Bought a new oil pressure warning switch and fitted it.
Quite a lot of oil fell out of the gallery when I pulled it. One thing to note is diesel oil picks up a lot of dirt very quickly. That's 400 miles old. Time for another change.
Bought a can of gloss black too, so I can make a start on refreshing the new horns (correct "lily" shape). Do need to make a new bracket because they're not off this car (12v version).
