Fixed more issue on the Vel satis. First off I seized the secondary bonnet catch so the bonnet latches correctly. Then found a breather pipe with a hole in which was depositing oil on the rocker cover. Quick fix was a piece of hosepipe whilst I order some correct pipe. Then found the low screen wash sensor and unplugged it. I now, albeit probably temporary, have a warning free dashboard and it displays ok after doing its diagnostic checks. Bets on how long it lasts.

I replaced the fucked diff on an '09 120i Convertible. It's the last one I'm going to do, I've had enough.

Located the intake air temperature sensor earlier. On my back in the street mounted on the intercooler.
It's covered in oil which is good news.
I'll try cleaning it before ordering a new one.

Blast of degreaser and it's good as 'new'.
We'll see Monday if it has any effect.
