Boxster only were available as a Roadster. The generation after had the chassis as a Coupe - the Cayman.

I was just gunna ask that ! Is a cayman a hardtop boxter ? And on that video , bending the rear screen ...is that in the handbook , or just what owners have discovered best do

Pretty sure it's in the manual. When my mum got hers new, the dealer at the time told her how to open the hood on the handover. So it's been known for a long time.

You have to remember that when Porsche designed the Boxster and the 996 911, they weren't flushed with cash like they are now. I imagine a plastic screen was an order of magnitude cheaper to produce than a glass screen.

Boxster can have a hard top option for winter use. Cayman is a pure Coupé.

I had a Porsche for a few weeks . It was left to my sister in a will , and she didn't want it , i needed it like a hole in the head at the time ..so we sold it for her ..18 k

wot a knob eh ? There you go , that's life :lol:

Saw a classic Turbo hammer past me on the M32 northbound. Crackle and flames out the exhaust on the overrun as it braked hard for the junction exit.

Cool AF.

Also pricey AF too :(

Just seen my first 21 car. A nine eleven no less. I forgot the new regestrations came out in March.
