Now I've been given the OK to get another car, I've properly got the "impatient itch" to get something else. Something old and a classic.
This is not helped by the MGB being at the in-laws, so I can't even go drive that. I could go up and fetch the Boxster down, but for some reason I don't feel the urge to?
I've refreshed my eBay saved searches countless times, checked several enthusiasts forums for any newly listed cars and keep refreshing the Dolly forum to see if my messages on those two cars have been read. Properly getting frustrated and irritated I can't find anything.
It's not money burning a hole in my wallet, it's burning a hole in my head. Really don't know what's wrong with me.
Just need to be careful it leads me just throwing it at the next tragic heap I find which is in budget.
I know! I've kept it contained for a good while, but it feels like I've relapsed and in a big way. Thank god I am not a smack head. Well I'd be long dead if I was.
Ha! I literally have no idea on Panhards. For now I'm sticking British pre 80s, as I've kinda got them all figured out now and it's my current facination. Give it time and I'll move onto either a different era or a different region.
Got a suspicion it maybe yank cars next and in a couple of years.
I'm just glad that pre 80s cars aren't dirt cheap anymore. Otherwise I'd have way too many ...even though some say I'm already at that point.
All of the warning lamps on except oil and alternator. Yes, all of them.
Suspension on its arse unless its run for 20 minutes.
No blower.
No brake lamps.
Random repair attempts from unknown.
Just shy of 200k on clock.
So obviously I've bought it. In fact approx a month ago. Then promptly tried to forget it.
