What did you do today?
Re: What did you do today?
I do feel sorry for the old buggers in those places.
I hope they at least get out into the garden for a fag etc

Re: What did you do today?
I've just changed the freelander's clutch hydraulics for second time in 19 months of ownership. It started fucking about in hot weather, pedal stays down, loads of complaints about them. It's a flawed vehicle, what do I expect?
I've had a look at quite a few other motors, surprising how many have signs of sealer in the water. I just shut the bonnet and walk away. Sometimes the vendor give a half arsed explanation which tails off when they see what I've arrived in. I might go back to something old.

Re: What did you do today?
Van has burst it's lower radiator hose, lashed it back together with aluminium tape and got it home.
Now got to wait for it to cool enough to get the old hose of and see what I can make fit shouldn't take long with the amount that's running out now I've stopped.

Lower rad hose successfully bodges and headlight fixed.
Started polishing as celly still oxidises just as fast as it did in the 70s, managed half of one side, ended up getting the machine polisher out to speed things up.
Still not found a decent soft wax polish either that is easy to use. Everything seems to require endless re polishing to get a decent finish from 10 yards.

Re: What did you do today?
If it'd help I can do some pics but I'm not certain how useful they'd be as they might not capture some things that the naked eye would see.
I await a humiliation at the hands of our techno savvy members.
