What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

£20 quid tax!
I'd rather be a bus wanker than drive a corsa. Mk1 exempt.

Aimed at being the perfect first car for a young lady or as a second car to be ragged about to the supermarket, the Peugeot 107 is a chic and cute little car that punches above its weight. The Peugeot 107 is one of the cutest little cars on the roads today.

I couldn't find Hairy Arsed Plumbers choice so this will have to do.

As for a bus, I've not yet driven or ridden in a car awful enough to get me on a bus. Only the prospect of a fucking long walk has ever done that.

107 are great. Not fast but handle really well for what they are. Mega cheap to run and simple to fix.

Shame they never put a powerful engine in. Would have made very much a modern 205GTi. Similar weights and sizes, yet have modern impact and crash technology.

If you get bored, you can strip it out and enter the race series for them.

They empty the roof and rear glass of water into the boot if you are foolish enough to want to open it in the rain.

That's the key reason my mother got rid of hers.

Plus, compared to the Cinquecento it replaced, it was anodyne and characterless, despite being quite a capable little car.

Bah, I reckon the condenser was the guilty party amongst the Datsun's electrickery. Plonked a new one on this morning, reset the points and set the timing and she runs better than ever.
The sparking I noticed at the points was very yellow, now I really am no expert but that is a sign of a buggered condenser, from my reading it oughtta be a nice snappy little blue spark.

Hummmm; a successful entrepreneur like yourself? You wanna be driving around in something better surely?
I am thinking of selling my old Saab this summer- needs welding and I haven't the time. I want something small and nippy, £5k, maybe a bit more, Civic type R perhaps.

That's exactly it. A shopping kart that won't eat any grass standing idle with little to no maintenance. The boy is getting sick of the back of the van the odd occasion he has to go anywhere. I doubt I'll even drive it and the roadster will be out to play soon anyway.
The saab was costing £60 odd a month to stand for weeks on end not including the mot, repairs and maitenance.
