Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I popped up Squires this aft as a mate or two was there. I missed the ride of remembrance as I'd slept though my alarm, although tbh I wasn't planning to do it anyway.

Figures though with all the floods & current issues that are stretching police resources that they managed to find enough of them to man three different scameras to catch anyone going to/from the ride. People wonder why we all think ACAB.

That might be far enough in for a plug.
Reminded me of this. My works Fireblade, and the tyre was fitted less than 100 miles previously. Only noticed it after riding it from FWR in London to the MOT station in Headingham.

Fucked.

Also I went to join an IAM group locally. I was on an S1000RR with a loud pipe (work bike) and I could feel the distain from four or five of them towards the bike (and me?). So never bothered from then on (despite being a fully trained advanced police rider (but not a copper).

The one thing I miss about work is the frequent bike and car training courses. Great fun but knackering. What I don't miss is the 120 miles daily commute (and never seeing brandersnatch). Now I enjoy every ride as there is sunshine most days, never worry about locking the bike up, or getting hijacked along the A13.

Ride safe guys!

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

And I got a puncture on the way home tonight. Plugged in the dark by the side of the A12 by the light of the passing traffic. Fucking super hero me! Straight to FWR in the morning for new tyres, lucky I don’t pay for them.

I think I've solved the misfire when cold or wet on my 14. 40k old plugs needed regapping & had worked slightly loose. I've also wirebrushed them up & got the sealing washers free to move again, it sounded happier when started to check it all still works anyway.

I'll test it when out tomorrow.
