My British bike experience is limited to my dads 750 commando and various highly modified trials machines, the Norton didn't feel half bad to be honest once I had got my head around the gear change being upside down, it certainly cornered and stopped better than I imagined, however the notion of being oil tight didn't really match the reality.

Well the trike has pissed me off one too many times now so it's getting a complete strip,paint and refresh with rewire. I tightened all battery terminals and connections up then took it for a run. It repaired me by refusing to start off of the starter motor and thrust release bearing is chattering.

The Z1000 is pretty good on track considering its a good 60kg's heavier than a sportsbike.
