Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

It was all hard surfaced and the Gates on the Mountain taken away by about 1920.

Correction - the Mountain Gates went in 1931

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Took a trip to the Reedham chain ferry in Norfolk this morning. Interesting the way it works. £2 for motorbikes one way.

That's cool, didn't know they had one up there. Last chain ferry I was on, was the King Harry Ferry down the West Country.

Looks like it’s the only one in the east of England. There is a hand operated one on the Thames, the Trowlock Island ferry, but I’m not sure if that counts 😂

It used to be free if you had a pint in the pub.
I don't know if that's still the case.

I hate all the shut pubs currently, it's the death of British society.

My local is open most days. Selling beer in takeaway glasses, you can then sit outside on the green opposite.
It makes going to work easier, knowing I can have a pint after!
