Those were my thoughts too but I know nothing about what the numbers mean on these cars. There is a stunning Limited here in the North West, a regular at many shows. The owner, who I guess is retired, keeps it immaculate. They are massive cars even for a Yank, bigger than Caddy and Lincoln that year IIRC.mercrocker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 11:10 pm Looks like that Buick vendor is excited because the last unrotten part of the car is indicating it is the 2nd 1958 Buick body built....Maybe the 2nd Limited 4 door Hardtop in Wilmington Delaware plant but it really doesn't matter now. It's fucked. Not many Limiteds here, though, I can think of only 2 other 4 doors.

Re: EBay Finds
I spotted the pair of these he has for sale and thought I might go for it until I noticed what the cunt has done. The best one of the pair he has fucked by cutting out the structural supports between the bulkhead and the chassis. Why do they feel the need to "improve" stuff. If the price stays low I might try and get the pair and restore the other one which he hasn't fucked up.fried onions wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:54 pm

An appreciating asset. Gone up a fair bit over the last few years.

Re: EBay Finds
A mate of mine knew one of the Cramers and we got to have a look around the collection about fifteen years ago. It was simultaneously fascinating and heartbreaking, there must have been near on two hundred cars (mostly Rootes group) just sitting rotting in or among the bushes. The vendor did well not only to drag them out but get them all the way home from the Essex / Cambridgeshire border without them snapping or falling to pieces.fried onions wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:35 pm "Will sell at market prices".
I thought this was the price on the listing, but it isn't.

Cannot make any sense of the description, but it does lend weight to my idea of most Yank owners in this country being deluded retards.

What I constantly wonder is where clowns like the 403 and Buick sellers get their money from.
