Not a lot really. There's a few bits on it I would like but they all seem to be worn on Acclaims now. Probably £150

Given that it sounds like it potentially sold previously on gumtree (presumably then buyer backed out) then I reckon direct.

£200-300 perhaps? Doesn't look much rustier than mine but will be beyond economical repair.

The Gumtree ad had different pictures (the car sat in a garden covered in leaves) and had the car for sale along with an old Nissan Sunny for for £100. I imagine the current seller is attempting to flip it for a quick buck given the current pictures show it on an A-frame.

Right this old Acclaim I am currently outbid at £137 does anyone want me to bid any more ? I am not fussed about it but if I know I can get my money back on it selling a few bits on here I will take a punt, but otherwise it isn't worth the hassle.

To be honest they aren't worth mega-bucks and demand for bits isn't massively high. Nobody really restores them as there are already more than enough good examples surviving to fill the limited market so parts take ages to sell. Usually NOS bits get snapped up and added to private hoards and second hand parts sit on eBay for ages... There is a guy selling various bits of trim on eBay for £NotALot and they've not shifted in the years I've had my car.

Biggest asset as far as value goes is probably the engine/gearbox, and even then that's £100 if anybody wants it and if it's decent. After that all the decent money is in body panels and that one looks rotten in all the places they tend to go.

Certainly if I gave you the going rate for the few bits I wanted/are better than my car you'd probably not make £100!

That Acclaim wants pushing out of the back of a Hercules from 15'000 feet. Over a large landmass so we can see/hear the impact.

It doesn't look capable of remaining complete enough to make any impact after 15000ft though.
