Best use for 021s is starting fires on speed scameras.

When I say I'm busy, I'm busy. Boat was delayed 1¼ hours. Only myself and a Volvo with a Pennine Pathfinder trailer tent making up the towing twats of lane 14. Boarded lastish and stuck out the back of the boat on deck 5.

Nice rig.
How much is a return on the ferry?
I went to France about ten years ago and the price to take the trailer was mental. I just loaded the v70 up to the roof.

Total Price 464.80 GBP

Outstanding balance 0.00 GBP
2361 points(17.00 GBP ) have been used as payment for this reservation.

4m Trailer is about 40 quid e/w, so £80 rtn.

At the moment it is 50% off for a trailer/caravan up to 6m on Tue-Thu crossings, so go those three days mid-week on the 0330 boat for #pikeypatrol

It used to be free midweek, but I think that is a low season offer. Holyhead route is £55 e/w all week.

Motorcycle/tricycle incl. trailer is only £47 single bike+rider.

Gotta get the Rialto sorted, book it this way and be ready for an argument.

Feeling the guilt of having done hee-haw after coming in from work last night, I thought I'd check the kid's Micro Scooter when I was having a smoke-o. (This is typical of the sort of shite I end up doing at 5 in the morning.)

Most recently (about 3 weeks ago) I was told that the red button had disappeared and the stem wasn't staying in the base.

Image

£2.95 or €2.95

I looked up the tube and saw it shoved just out of reach

Unreachable, so I had to take the quick release collar off, remove the bars and shove a broom handle up the stem to push it back out.

Moar kids stuff. Honda Jr 1's bicycle had a rear puncture, so as I was down Naas, popped into one of the bike shops. The two 406 tyres were a bit wide (originals are 20 x 1.35 (35-406)), so got them to get me some Schwalbe Marathons in. They did warn me they weren't cheap, whatever, just get them in. That was last Thursday.

Phone call to say they're in, received on Tuesday. €34 a pop! Yeah, I know, but supporting the local economy, blah, blah, blah. Puncture protection and shiny reflective sidewall band. Blah, blah, blah.

So I do the front one, simple enough. Tube looks okay. Goes back together fine. Valve cap buggered and split in two.

Do the rear one, again simple enough. Tube had previous repair patch of mine. Tube also wrong size (438/451), I remember seeing that last time and being annoyed, but not annoyed enough to do anything about it. As I had a spare handy this time (given to me when I bought the other one used), that got tossed and I fitted the correct 406 tube.

€2.40! Think I'll get 20 from China for €0.85 with VAT & delivery. Great bunch of lads.

Everything back together and Jr 1 despatched on test run - doesn't go forward sometimes. Bollocks. Time to take the back wheel out again and clean the freewheel up.

ETA: Eagle-eyed readers will have spotted the "We fit for €14.40". Aye, that'll be shining bright.

Have you seen the little brass adapters you can get to fit the prestas? They let you use a car pump to blow them up.
