Have you seen the little brass adapters you can get to fit the prestas? They let you use a car pump to blow them up.

I've seen them in my toolbox, so I fitted them to this handy device.

However the brass thingy doesn't have an O-ring, nor provision for one and leaks like a bastard. I had to get the track pump out.

It does, but I didn't have any other adaptors. I'm going to find a decent dual head schrader/presta chuck and fit it to the cordless blower-upper.

Shed of dread update

Friday I decided to go to Ted's to get some ring hooks and some cleats. As it was about half four, I reached the entrance to the estate, saw the traffic and fucked off back home.

Saturday, I was up late and as round quarter past four decide to go to Screwfix in Newbridge. Ordered online stuff from there and reserved a desk at Argos Naas for Honda Jr 2. Whizzed down to Argos. In and out quick enough. Down the road to Ted's and nothing the size I'm looking for, so just depart with some 5mm rope after a lot of time wasted. Look at the car clock and see I'm cutting it very fine dash down to Screwfix. Bomb down there and just beat closing to collect some lights. Get home, eat tea and assemble desk and tidy up packaging.

Sunday, up late morning but only at around quarter to three I start messing in the shed cutting some bit of wood.

I now how something to hang a light from between the ceiling rafters. Needed to do that as limited headroom.

Shelves need to come down and that shit unit wants moving and binning.

Must put that Poncey-Assisted Steering rack somewhere safe too.

Nothing wrong with sticking a plug on it if it's got a 3 amp fuse in there, maybe get the cable a little bit more out the way tho. Some of the Screwfix LED strip lights are very good, they've come on a long way. A decent, diffused, pleasant light output.

It has. I robbed the 3 pin plug from a computer lead I had knocking around. The only reason I had it on that lead must have been it was originally a moulded on Schuko, because bought from Germany. I was loath to buy a plug and thought it must be over 30 years since they started moulding them on products for the thickos.

Ah come on, it was quarter past three in the morning! I don't think the neighbours would of appreciated me clipping that cable at that hour of the morning

Some of the Screwfix LED strip lights are very good

These are great from a light point of view, but they are the own brand shite that sparkies dislike the lack connector for through CPC. Time will tell if they have any longevity or not. LEDs in my house have a variable reputation in my house.

@3am cable ties are the nutter in the garden sheds friend.

Del the Blacksmith has bought 5 so far, not a single failure and a farmer I know bought about 15, they are all good too afaik. Del's are on all day every day so getting a decent test.

The spots in our kitchen eat led bulbs for some reason yet the ones in the bathroom are five years old.

I have the opposite, but the bathroom fitting only has room for a golf ball bulb.

I've heard or flouros on the same circuit finishing the LEDs off in short order.
