Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Yep, you definitely get what you pay for with exhausts. With the Minor (and the accountant's manifold joint) I was given a two-piece stainless job which I used when replacing. It kept blowing with annoying regularity (probably why someone gave it me). I managed to find a Unipart complete single system and although it has the crimped silencer know it will be a good fit and last for years. Same reason I never buy exhausts online, as the fit can be so poor they bank on you not packing them up for return.

Rescue? I'd already fixed it, just looking for a picture of the heat shield. If I wanted rescuing, I'd have gone to Clubjazz, FitFreak or WerthersOriginalGiffersSociety.

Our two don't, because I have enough of a headache storing bicycles, never mind more crap.

Anyway, on Tues when I left for work, I saw Honda Jr 2 on a neighbour's GM, sans helmet. (Not bothered really, a good head injury will learn him). Later, whilst at work, I ask Mrs H how they were after I left...

My son had the halfords mclaren f1 version. Great big spoiler on the back. Tremendous for handbrake skids etc.
Strangely can't find any pictures of it online.

Debate on Jeremy Vine about cat thefts. The jizz came up regular as a target. Why would that be? Does the ground clearence make them an easy target?
