My slightly knackered old cars

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Was the arch that bad you had to fit the full thing? We normally used to trim them down

It was easier to weld a new inner arch with the outer one cut all the way out, I think the other rear arch won't need the inner replacing so perhaps a closer cut will be required.

That does make much more sense! Will be interested to see if it drives better after you have added so much metal back into it!

I can't take credit for the majority of the work, my friend is doing a lot of it for free.

I've been experimenting with a new camera and have made a couple of slightly better quality ones lately.

I found this one mildly amusing to make.

Feedback welcome.

I won a BMW in a local raffle and swapped it for a 216 GTI

I sold the Rover with a nice £491 profit.

I bought a new camera to help with the videos and tried some stop motion stuff while replacing the wings on the 305 estate.

Upon removing the passenger wing I discovered some rust so cracked the welded out to make a repair.

Major WOOF for the 216GTI. I take it that it the Twin Cam with the sprint gearbox ratios? They also had gas filled dampers.
