I really wish I had bought an IMPCO set up instead of the BLOS

Different brands/ styles of LPG equipment kind of like how both an SU and twin Weber are both carbs but work differently?

I've had a poor quality dist. cap fine on petrol but cause a misfire on LPG. Don't know about Ford bits, but there's some awful rotor arms for BL stuff about.

With this set up you can alter the blos screws through a long range and it doesn't seem to make any difference, it just works OK. I've tried a lambda with one of those motorised valve things but no improvement that I could tell. I've also hooked up an air fuel ratio guage, but it didn't improve my quality of life and looked stupid flashing away in a Landrover.

The last thing I converted was my P4. I used the cheapest mixer, one of those £12 universal plastic things you stuff in pipe between the carb and filter. It worked just fine, though when I shoved a K&N straight on just to try it out the engine would hardly run at all.

With the mgb don't you have issues with it stalling on overrun after driving at speed due to the mixture going weak? There must be a fair blast into the filter situated where it is.
Likewise adjusting the screws on the BLOS doesn't seem to make much difference, it sucks so well part of my problem is trying to not have it running rich all the time.

No, it's perfect on LPG, never stalls or fucks about, will pull away cleanly if you floor it at 15mph in top. People think I'm making that up til they try it. I've wrote on here about it pulling a caravan, it only does in the low 20's with that behind, but you can't have everything.
