It is def 24 v starter, rest 12v. I’m trying to see if I can get the original starter wound back to 12. Cheaper better option than the original, & I’m might be able 5o loose one of the 3 monster truck batteries.
I’ll put some pics of the interior up. It still has its bedroom, (holes in the floor), bathroom, separate toilet both seem dry, untouched. Kitchen still part exists, lounge is non existent. Lots of small holes in the roof, & half the supports missing . I reckon, if the runn8ng gear is ok, that it’s worth saving,

I did indeed have 2 stalkers, - good memory! Both local, 500 yds & 1/2 mile). One was a member of the Parish Council, but retired rapidly when caught despoiling someone else’s property that he felt inappropriate in his neighbourhood. He’s been convicted, now keeping a low profile pending sentence. That also curtailed the activity of his accolyte, who has withdrawn scowling. I made my position quite clear, and they are now leaving me alone. For now.

I think this will be GM’s truck Diesel engine which is not the same engine as the famously flawed Oldsmobile Diesel that is fitted to ‘80s Cars, including Drum’s, and those delightful bustle-booted Cadillacs.

Do you know exactly which engine it is? I can ask on the American car groups I'm in on Facebook if anybody has one?

Yep, mine is the 5.7 V8. It has two batteries in parallel, so 12V.

Sorry, I know nothing bout it yet. All I’ve seen is the overhead pic. Front view is totally blocked by a huge rad & aircon fan, and there isn’t enough space to crawl underneath. There’s no space around it to work on, from above.
All it’s paperwork says 6.2, brochure says GM 6.2 , 3 battery layout (2 truck, 1 car).
I’ll know better when we get it jacked up - which may be a few days, as I’m now heading into a cyclical down.
