Good stuff, WTC.....I've said this before but a pic of a completely unknown-to-me location with a few Firenzas, Avengers and Arrows dotted about looks more familiar than the street outside my house does now.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

hmm...Never take any notice of anything I post on here on a Saturday night!
I'll retake the Alfa as a 2000GTV but I'm holding on the GXL ...Capri RS3100 maybe but statistically not?
No sign of a melted rear spoiler...

Merseyside had a couple of Ford Rallye Sport dealers, in fact the Escort RS1800 I destroyed with a mate back in the late 80s was a Liverpool registered car.

We had a couple down here too.....Hendy Lennox which came out of the Percy Hendy business (the original UK Ford dealer, appointed by Ol' Henry himself) and another whose name escapes me for the moment.

I’m with you on the GXL, the chrome full bumper with over riders instead of black 1/4 bumpers would indicate not being an RS3100. As would the lack of a ducktail spoiler visible through the back window.
Although I did have GXL headlights on my facelift 1600GT with a 2.0Pinto in it in 1985, so who knows .
