I love Mercedes Benz

Post by Bigstraight6 »

I picked up this lovely 82,000 mile W208 320 a few months ago and I have to say it’s the nicest car (apart from Ford Zodiac and Triumph 2000) I’ve ever owned. It’s in quite stunning condition for a 20 year old car and is lovely to drive, as in you go out for a drive just to drive! I have a full service history and every MOT, even the original bill of sale when the car was sold from the then MB dealer in my home city at a cost of £39,500. It drives nicer than the wife’s 42,000 mile SLK and I paid £1500 for it!

Each mile that car has done is £4.69 in depreciation.

Mad that.

Crazy shit. I'm glad there are still nice old Mercs out there for this sort of money. I've drawn a line under any planned future ownership of one but good to see nonetheless.

Or 150 quid a month.

I guess that it'd have been a company purchase initially so the cost could be partially offset against profits.

I'm selling one of these to a beige member this morning, it's similarly rot free to yours. Really nice car. I've driven much newer cars that don't feel as nice and as well built to sit in as one of these.

Yes. Lots. I had a 90's Saab floppytop previously so it never put me off. I think I'd have another one of these, but a coupe.
