Cleaned out the back of the c15 van and was amazed to find a pristine, unscratched load floor.

If I remember correctly it was used from new, by the dad of the dealer we bought it off, to go fishing.
He used to sleep in it and I guess that he lined it etc. as soon as he got it.

Today I was late for work. I'd set my alarm for 0600, 0600 Friday though... Only 30 minutes late.
These are some words.

I've been doing shit like this A LOT recently.AlabamaShrimp wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 1:17 pm Today I was late for work. I'd set my alarm for 0600, 0600 Friday though... Only 30 minutes late.
Need to get up early tomorrow? No problem, I'll set my alarm for 6 o'clock. Get up late. Next time check the alarm isn't set to 'pm' you total bell end.
I arrived back from the pub the following Saturday night, need to make sure I'm up at 11am. Set the alarm, squinting hard at it because I've enjoyed lots of beer. Get call in the morning... "Where are you?" Check alarm... it's set for 1pm. FFS!

Re: What did you do today?
Wasted a fuck ton of time on the Minor....Thought I best check the lights. Hmmm, NSF headlamp no dip beam. OK, bulb time - spare one in the boot I know. Found the Lucas box, no bulb. Went to post birthday card before PO shut. Came back, remembered I put spare bulb in old Osram box because old school corrugated cardboard. Only one seized screw in headlamp retainer....result. Put bulb in. No dip beam.
TL:DR have had to check voltage back to three, maybe four, bullet connectors. Unfortunately due to 55 year old loom, every single connection had to be re-made and proved before moving on. Also had to cut lots of cables back to avoid crumbly crispy baked ends, now some are too short. Fucksticks I have had enough of this. Did briefly manage to illuminate headlamp but not in a workable don't-touch-it-for-next-eleven-years fashion. Riding bicycle to work tomorrow (or walk to lockup and get Cowley out...)
