Re: Trials and tribulations
I've always wanted a Morgan. I've had a voucher for a 48hr hire of one since about 2016 but I always find a reason not to use it.

Re: Trials and tribulations
It's something I would like to have a go at again sometime, just life gets in the way and I would have to get involved with car/motor clubs again.
The vintage ones are great to watch where you have things from tiny Austin 7s to great hulking, bellowing things with massive engines.
The proper trials cars with fiddle brakes used to be on TV years ago.

Re: Trials and tribulations
Brilliant stuff, thanks for posting. I've been watching a lot of Exeter and Lands End stuff lately and it is stirring up some masochistic desire to have a go. Mate and I were debating doing the Exeter some years ago with his Mk2 Escort but it never developed. More recently a fella in our local club did it in his Spartan - I'm waiting to see if he enters again in which case I will probably at least go and see some sections.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Re: Trials and tribulations
That reminds me, it's probably better here than the spotted thread. I saw a pre-war MG in Cream Cracker colours the other day, it even had a name on the bonnet starting with 'E'. Looked bloody lovely all shabby & dirty parked outside a pub in an old fashioned village.
