Bloody hell I can't see any rot! Is that a leak under the bumper though?

Re: StandBy for Class
Really diverse selection at that auction.
Good luck with the sale.
I would buy that MX-3 BTW

Re: StandBy for Class
A dreadful result. Derek did say when I entered it that it needs an audience to actually witness how straight it is.
I've said I'll sell if the net result is a thousand in my pocket. Otherwise I'll collect, I left enough petrol in it to get me home.

I remember these as being well regarded at the time, but they seem to have been forgotten.

I sold them new and used. They were a difficult sell as they were really quite unknown, but arguably the pick of the full Rover range. They were leagues ahead of the 800.

Re: StandBy for Class
Once you put somebody into them, they liked them. But they were totally over-shadowed by the likes of the Mondeo and the Passat. Rover never pushed the model as BMW were in charged and they were rumoured to be losing money on everyone sold. The diesels were always in demand, but so expensive due to all the Honda kit in them. They were really all Honda.
