What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

On the subject of vets I've found that foreign vets are more likely to recommend putting a dog down than British ones. The last was a Greek who couldn't believe what we'd pay to save our dogs life, I had to pay upfront by credit card. Mind you I had turned up in my gardening gear as I expected my wife to deal with him. It was only when she came out in tears, saying that he was going to put the dog down, that I had to go in and have a full and frank discussion with him.

I guess they're valued less there due to the number of strays. To be fair he did stay with her all night and she pulled through thanks to him.

Veterinary work must be a whizz in that China.

Good job! A silver LS400 with DHP wheels would be my choice if I ever took the plunge.

As long as the aircon works and the exhaust hasn’t been fucked about with, this is a car for a gentleman . A powerfully built company Director/Moderator should be driving something with a bit of potential jeopardy … erm I mean Executive Presence

That looks ace, Paul. I really want one of these at some point, they’re already soaring in price though!

Are shorts the right attire for such a motorised conveyance?

hahahahahahhahaha the thought of driving that LS400 round the lanes round here reminds me of going cross country back from Glasgow in mine.

I remember coming head to head with a community minibus and having to reverse around three blind bends on a road barely wider than the car, with a broken mirror. Good fun though.
