Re: Cars what I own and occasionally touch
Well joy of joys I started and actually move the Fiesta for the first time in about 2 weeks. Don't use half as much as I should anyway.
It's been smelling of petrol from the engine but there was nothing obvious. Stuck my hand behind the carburettor. Bugger petrol. Took the air filter off and petrol is leaking out of the base.

You can't see it in the picture of course but it's just below that bit that looks wet.
I'll have to get a rebuild kit and see what I can do. Need to bodge it with some sealant stuff for the time being as I'm at work all day tomorrow and of course Friday is the car show. Luckily if the petrol does drip it's not onto the exhaust.

I think that's the Isuzu version of a mk2. Not sure what bits are the same. Whereabouts is it?

It is outside my back garden in East Kent.
The owner of the land has been slowly clearing his field of shite - I shall make some enquiries

It's literally hanging on.
Edit; can't make this sodding thing work so the video is of the Frontera bumper being wobbly.
