I used to work with a bloke who had one of those Orion 1600E's it was nothing special at all just an Orion with a different badge. Ford really did take the piss with some of these specials to flog cars. The later Mexico and RS2000 were just as shit.

The rs2000 was a mk5. I had the pleasure of driving a nearly new one back in the day. Slow for what it was and very underwhelming. I did score some ray bans out of it though.
Was it the first of the zetecs?

Going the other way, they did Cortina 1600E in the MK2. Not sure about other versions.

Mk1 Capri 3000E. MkIII Cortina 2000E. Corsair 2000E. Mk1 Escort 1300E.

Some better efforts than others but all broadly sitting at the top of the range (although the Escort was by no means the most expensive version) and the same basic formula of GT suspension, upgraded interior etc.

Spotted a couple of bargains while out with the dog earlier.
How about 3k for a fifteen year old avensis or 5k for an eleven year old mondeo. I wonder if he does px?

Just nipped down the motor factors and Tesco.

When I got back to the car, I heard a car whisper behind me. I turned to see it was an Eddie Honda

It's a "Honda e", but like Robin Reliants and E-Type Jaguars, I remember them as E Hondas.

Ok, I wasn’t there to Wobland Spottage this in person, but my Jag was. It lives next to the brown one in the chap’s Jay Leno style barn.

Love these things - just wish they had a more exotic motor in them - they are just fancy pants Monzas and Royales at the end of the day aren’t they?
