Yeah apparently you can lower it by just setting a different height with a diagnostic tool (VCDS, etc).
Remember these are high end luxury cars that are designed for the first owner. They try out new stuff as they want to sell the latest technology. But the tech is new on cars and still being refined on these models before larger mass produced models.
I don't think this will be a haldex setup for Quattro.

There are setting options on the screen for the suspension. Lift up, jack, comfort, auto and dynamic.

Yeah I believe it lowers at high speed to improve stability on a motorway.

Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus lexus
I pulled over at a bus stop to put some rubbish in a bin earlier. The car started to drop as it was idling. I never felt it rise as I pulled away. I suppose it'll be smooth enough not to be noticable.
In 650 miles time it'll crack 200k. I wonder if I'll still have it then.

Does the suspension drop when off and does it take a bit to get back to height when restarted?

Re: Pug 107 minus mx5 plus lexus
No. It seems to stay the same. I think it would tell me if it was fucked.
The indicator does work for two or three flashes the first time it's used after starting. Then it bongs, says it's fucked and leaves a warning on the dash. It even shows a top down view of the car and highlights which light is faulty.
The flappy paddles seem to be completely pointless. They only let you move one gear either up or down.

I'd check inside for corrosion or dry joints. If its lighting up then sounds like it's all there.

I haven't checked the actual lens. Just the indicator light on the clocks. It blinks about three times normally before blinking really quickly as if you have a bulb out.

Everything I've driven with flappy paddles or other similar way to run up & down the box has been pointless for the same reason. That Saab I had was even more annoying, in full auto it'd sit in 4th at 30, put it in flappy mode & it wouldn't shift up from 3rd till nearer 40. Programmed to be annoying.
