Brit US Market four headlamp tat.

Drive a V12 Jag and everything else just pales into insignificance. I've had three so I've done my 12 mpg bit for the climate. Plus I'm too old/disinterested to fix it.

Ignore anyone telling you the 4.2 is 'nearly as good'. It ain't.

What does that matter if one wants a yank tank?

What does that matter if one wants something other than a Jaguar?

There is a very good reason Jags are pub landlords cars. They live where they work and they get deliveries rather than having to go out and buy stuff. They can have all the pleasure of having a beautiful looking car outside without all the heartache of actually having to use and therefore fix it / have nervous breakdown over.

Yank tat for me too, far more robust and easier to fix.

No matter whether I like them or not, they don't suit me. I'm not a Jaaag man.
It's like those people who look totally authoritative in pinstriped suits, whereas I look like a shady small town crook in them.

I'm not exactly a Jag man either, and Ford? I haven't fallen that far down the pecking order yet. Nay, I keep looking at Cadillacs.

Everyone likes Jaguars. Those who don't haven't driven/pushed one for long enough.

However, I still value old cars with a 1992 Parkers Guide as opposed to insane 'classic' prices.
