Have to say, despite the currently shit weather as we nudge closer to winter, with all the fuel madness going on,my Mz has never looked so attractive, especially as I've discovered it will run on a mix of heating oil and petrol..purely experimental of course.. and it just flew through an MOT as well

Yeah, for this particular type of plastic. I'd take a pic but the packet is in what I think is Polish so won't help much. Normal superglue doesn't stick it, although I suspect it would with the paint on primer this one came with.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 8:19 pm What is the magic glue? Something specific for plastics?

I bet that smells different! Fit a secondary tank to allow starting from cold and warning up on straight petrol then turn over to kero?Cruiser45 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 8:21 pm Have to say, despite the currently shit weather as we nudge closer to winter, with all the fuel madness going on,my Mz has never looked so attractive, especially as I've discovered it will run on a mix of heating oil and petrol..purely experimental of course.. and it just flew through an MOT as well

Must be my ad-blocker then. I saw it for a moment & then it went blank, so that makes sense. It's an amazon link, so if I ever need it again I might be able to find it.

Much the same as this then:
https://www.loctiteproducts.com/en/prod ... ystem.html Polypropylene (PP) is a pain the arse to glue, that's why primer/activator is needed to alter the surface of it to get the bastard to stick.
