You certainly seem to get clobbered by taxes there.

4 quarterly Motor Tax discs = €432.
DD band E = £162.75 (€192).
Yeah, I'm getting rinsed. However I don't pay property tax, that's the landlord's problem (c.€400), but I have to pay for my bins, c. €350

27 eurocents (23ppm) includes all fuel, tax, insurance, etc. and the initial purchase price written off after 6 years...

Mines a ticking timebomb I fucking hate the thing with passion and can't wait to get rid. It's constantly trying to regen, hunting all over on idle. The fans are often running full tilt when I pull up. Oh and every now and then it blasts out blue smoke when I boot it. It only runs right on full throttle and above 2k.
It'll be disappearing before too long.

You were told to burn the thing rather than have a hooky engine fitted...

I know but I panicked and told too many people about it. The next time it"ll just disappear.

If you do end up pushing it in a quarry or burning it please get an old pair of overalls to clad an old medical skeleton and leave it inside. It'll make it that bit more interesting for whoever finds it.

Took the bandit mask grille off.
That's a lot of horn for one car.
Bottom rear door hinge is a bit seized
Wasn't me that wood.
Started emptying out the car looking for cylinder head. Found a decent, hardly used dizzy cap with some decent Bosch leads.
Found a massive excess of 1/2" heater hose.
Bulbs are stuck in the side light/indicator unit and the headlamp bowl is rusty to the point of allowing the NS heamlamp to shoogle around. Nearside mirror has cracked glass at the edge and the offside one is wobbly.
Also found most of the Regal interior in there, a rebuilt Regal gearbox that looks like it'll need rebuilding again, a new Laycock clutch cover and plate, a couple of number plates, a brand new expansion bottle for the cooling system (planned modification to later cooling system spec), a rocker cover gasket, manifold to head and manifold to downpipe gaskets....and a cylinder head. Not 100% sure it's the one I'm actually looking for but it's certainly one of a pair that I had.
Just need to find an exhaust manifold and I might be able to cobble this motor back together. In theory it shouldn't be too hard to find one, as I did have a picture of 4 of them...
